Pantone has always been my go-to source for technical colour inspiration, especially when formulating a colour. Not only do they categorise thousands of colours with beautiful descriptions, they conduct research into colour and predict each year a new direction. Their annual colour of the year is a great way to find that new personal twist for 2019 or to introduce clients to new tonal directions for their hair. Many of the manufactures and Hair Professionals will follow with great tutorials on how to achieve these on-trend colours. I like to observe just how many of Pantone’s influences pop up in a year, I know a bit sad, but the researcher in me never ceases to stop exploring.
